I did, indeed. I don’t know that it particularly needs “countering”, it’s just pretty straightforward history that gives perspective on why Black Christians vote Democrat. And frankly, it was a bit of an eye-opener for me, whether I agree with their perspective or not.
Vischer has voiced his regrets repeatedly about not being more directly evangelical in the Veggies, admitting he missed opportunities with kids.

Exactly. It’s somewhat easy for Conservatives to look at some of the Democrat base and say “tsk tsk tsk they are still on the plantation”.
But if we look at ourselves, we are slaves too. The other party dances in the streets and has demonstrations. We don’t do that as much — because we all have jobs, and families, and homes, right? We have to work and pay our taxes to keep that whole welfare state afloat. So, isn’t pretty much everyone on the plantation in one way or another?
My view of the modern global economy is that it is very much based on some form of slavery. That’s actually been very literally true for almost all of human history. We tell ourselves that our economy isn’t based on slavery. We’re modern. But I think in 100 years people will look back at us and say “They didn’t even know they were slaves; how could they not have seen it?”.

I think religion is almost a cultural thing with blacks, more so than any adherence to Biblical truths. Just my impression from years of interaction with black families in my job. I am not saying they don’t hold deep spiritual and Biblical beliefs, they do. But younger blacks do not seem to have the same Christian values of their grandparents.
Black or white is irrelevant. Look at the church services. Democrat church services are all stories and emotions. Republican church services focus on scripture.
No such thing as a Christian voting Democrat. One cannot vote for abortion and homosexuality and be Christian. “He that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”
I would say that if whites tend to vote Republican, it’s because they tend to understand the concept of freedom from government coercion better than others and that is probably because European whites especially those from Great Britain tend to have faith in the God of the Bible which is necessary to acquire and maintain freedom.
Freedom is hardly talked about today, and yet is a basic driving force in humans. After years of neglect in government education and government schools about the understanding and importance of freedom, fewer and fewer seem to be in tuned into freedom and its importance. Why should government schools teach about freedom? Freedom is against government interest because freedom is the absence of government coercion.
In America, we already have freedom to a great degree and many don’t understand that once you lose it there is a very high price to pay to get it back. Many have died to get to America to be free from government coercion. We don’t know how lucky we are.
It is so amazing to me that the black communities are so livid over slavery YET don’t mind one bit being slaves to the government total dependence on the government!!
Yup. Blacks need big time education to change their natural tendency towards decadence and subjugation.
