Harris got picked because the dems are worried about the election results in California. During the primary season, she flamed up to 15-19% support in the polls, then tanked down into Beto/Petey/Spartacus numbers.

The dem primary voters wanted one thing; Not Trump. But they could not find an actual human being they wanted to support, so Biden became President candidate NOTA, and Harris became Vice-President candidate NOTA.

They had popular appeal available in their primary lineup, and passed on it for radical, most likely unelectable, leftist crooks. I truly believe the Dem party is bankrupt, monolithic, and unable to co-exist or compromise even within their own ranks. After this election, win or lose, the party is through.
