Sen. Kamala Harris let her face — eye rolls, smirking, scoffs and all — do all the talking during the vice presidential debate Wednesday night, but some experts believe it could cost her with voters.
Pollster Frank Luntz said Vice President Mike Pence was the clear winner of the 90-minute debate, which the Democratic vice presidential nominee forgot to bring her poker face to.
“You can’t give Mike credit for winning the debate. You have to give Kamala responsibility for losing it,” Luntz said Thursday on CNBC. “Because of the tone, because of the demeanor … the smirking and the reactions to it.
He said the 15 undecided voters from eight battleground states he polled weren’t won over by the former California prosecutor’s performance.
“The complaint about Kamala Harris was that she was abrasive and condescending,” Luntz told Fox News.
He said, “Harris’ reactions to Pence — the smiling, the smirking, the scowling” — left the viewers “angrier” with her performance than Pence’s, despite them not appreciating the vice president going over his allotted time.

Harris released her inner teenage girl cheerleader with an unending litany of whiny, pouting, smirky, condescending faces coming from her. That is not how strong women act but it is definitely passive-aggresive behavior. It may have worked on Willie Brown but it doesn’t on most voters.

Surprised Luntz didn’t gloss over this and be less critical of Harris.
I would’ve loved to hear VP Pence ask Harris right off the bat, “Who did you sleep with to get chosen for the VP candidate???”
I appreciated Harris explaining the definition of bounty and some other big words.
It is a big help to us uneducated deplorables.

Willie Brown knows all about that.
She represents a yuge component of women, not only ones of color (I didn’t say African American due to it not applying to her heritage). They are totally self-centered and arrogant, feeling entitled and with a big chip on their shoulder. In all the stories about a store shopper brawl, or anything worth having a local news crew cover, these women demand full attention and lawsuits as the center of the universe.
As soon as you meet her you think “bee-eye-itch”.

And yes, it was right after the debate. Harris was mugging for her base. I’m sure they all loved the behavior.

Mike Pence comes across as sincere and genuine. Her arrogance and smirk face did not work against the silver fox. She appears like an insolent child.

However, suburban anti-Trump women said “But on her it looked good. She’s kinda cute and has a nice smile and nice eyes. I spent most of the time looking at her clothes and hairstyle but I liked it as a woman that she stood up to that man, Pence. You go, girl.”
