Apparently his "bye" tweet is being construed as "racist" because he used the hand emoji of a "person of color". I don't see how that is racist, but I also don't understand why he chose a black hand.

Probably to prove he was NOT racist! I’ve read a lot of complaints about emojis being “white,” etc. although of course you can usually pick them now in the color of your choice.
