Actor Jim Caviezel, who played Jesus in 2004s The Passion of the Christ, said writer/director Mel Gibson has written a forthcoming sequel.
Mel Gibson just sent me the third picture, the third draft. Its coming, he told Breitbart. Its called The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection. Its going to be the biggest film in world history.

Ummmmm....I am pretty sure that there isn’t a sequel. What am I missing...it doesn’t exactly seem doctrinal....
Jesus is back and this time, he’s mad!
Stupidest idea ever to come out of Hollywood. Maybe Mel will have him electrocuted this time???
I’d like to see the victory in the resurrection. The victory of the cross was a Jesus snuff film as it should be but watching is twice is sadistic. JMHO.
I think Family Guy beat him to it.
Jim Caviezel is great.
Because "These are the facts of the Ascension, and they are not in dispute."
LOL!
Well played. :)
I was impressed and amazed at the first one.
At the same time, I never wish to see that movie again.
It was that emotionally draining for me.
Once is more than enough.
I have little use for a second one, unless there is a different interpretation about a different aspect of the bible.
What? He returns kinda sequel? Will he dramatize the Tribulation and Yeshua comes back on a white horse? Speaking of which, where do these white horses come from?
What is left but the 2nd Coming? Starting in Mexico?
Apocalpto is apocolypse in Acapulco?
I mean in his addled head.
I watch it every Easter
Lol!
Furiously thumbung thru the testament for that second coming that I wasn’t aware happened yet. Maybe the plot is more back to the future or terminator oriented.
I haven’t seen it again. I won’t say I never will, but it wasn’t an easy experience.
Is that the one where Jesus comes back with an AR-15 and visits DNC Headquarters for a nice chat? :)
Maybe he wants to win the Oscar by making it the most ethnically diverse portrayal of the scriptures EVER!
