The CCP has engaged in genocide against their own people for 75 years. Chairman Mao killed around 100 milion of his opn people, many of them starved in community farms because they failed to produce their demanded quota, and were not given food. His political enemies were either executed or imprisoned soon after he took control.
One political adversary dared to oppose him, and did so publicly. Mao waited till he was an old man and diabetic, put him in prison and denied him any medication, and had his death filmed.
China also has a serious over population problem, at one time they put in place a one child law, and did forced abortions if you got pregnant a second time.
In a country with 6 billion people, they are not likely to miss the 3 or 4 million who might die from this virus. And their government never did care if they kill their own people. It’s been standard procedure since 1949, when the communist party took control of China.
THe CCP is an evil government, still following a specific plan to achieve world domination by 2049, which is 100 years after taking control of China. They will stop at NOTHNG to accomplish world control, very much like what democrats are doing here in this country. And now they are both working toward the same goal, world domination by the same people, communists. Democrats just don’t realize their buddies in China will NEVER let them actually have any power...

the deaths you’re referring to happened during the ‘great leap forward’ from 1958 to 1962. upwards of 60m died due to famine.

now, china has 1.39 billion people ... about 4 times as many as the US ... but nowhere near “6 billion” (we try to keep our information accurate here on FR)
would they miss 4m people? would we miss 1m? of course... and that’s the same ratio.
whether or not china is ‘evil’ is a different problem. do i think they are trafficking children to a worldwide pedophile ring? no. do i think they’re cold and heartless? to our western eyes, yes.
but that’s irrelevant to the point at hand.
i do not believe they would INTENTIONALLY release the virus. no. and since we don’t live in a steven king novel... a single infected person ‘escaping’ from the lab wouldn’t be enough to kick it off (refer to dry field and match analogy).
BUT... democrats would find it useful in a situation where they face a highly popular and uncontrollable opponent hellbent on taking them down. having started and funded the lab, it would be easy for them to devise.
of course, that connection would never be made public... as it would start a war
