NEW YORK The World Series will be played entirely at the Texas Rangers new ballpark in Arlington, Texas, as part of a bubble agreement between Major League Baseball and the players association, the first time the sports championship will be played entirely at one site since 1944.
As part of an agreement finalized Tuesday, the Division Series, League Championship Series and World Series will be part of a bubble designed to minimize exposure to the coronavirus, which decimated the regular season and limited it to a 60-game schedule for each club. The best-of-three first round of the postseason expanded from 10 to 16 teams this year will be at the top-seeded teams.

The “Bubble Plan” is no different than farting in a bubble bath...
They’ll be playing for themselves
No one cares about them anymore
Or football
Or basketball
Or hockey
Or nascar
Can all drop off the face of the earth
And it will be a far, far better place
Commie sympathizers and raciat enablers have no place in the American society
Never have, never will
Are they going to try to wrap it up at the usual time or will Game 7 and the Rose Bowl be competing for viewers?
Finally they’ll be some decent baseball at that stadium. Lord knows there certainly hasn’t been any from the Rangers this season.
Won’t watch or listen to a game where crowd noise is piped in or fake fans are present. So, have not seen or heard any MLB this season. Stopped even checking the box scores.
I do listen to games from the 2019 which are archived at TuneIn.

New stadium looks nice...Retractable roof...
Ouch! That will leave a mark.
I still have not watched one minute of baseball. I think because I'm such a traditionalist that what is being played just isn't baseball to me. The deal breaker for me seems to be no fans in the stands. Fans in attendance are just too much a part of the game. That and two many rule changes, short season, bla bla bla. It's something but it's not baseball to me.
Still sitting here with my Rangers hat. :(
Don’t care, this will be the first World Series I skipped since the strike many years ago.
I work in an office of conservatives. Seriously like out of 20, 18 are super conservative and they play fantasy football. Drives me nuts. I dont want to hear about it and I personally feel like Im betraying my country by watching any of these sports.
That is because Houston is almost certain to be in the AL playoffs and Los Angeles and San Diego are almost certain to be in the NL playoffs. So this way everyone has a neutral field.
If there is a problem with either location, Arizona is the number one backup site.
When the rapust got shot and they refused to play the next day I gave up on baseball.
In other words, who cares?

not true I watch a game every day, it is no different than any other game I have watched except no fans, just like little kids play the game, just like old overweight men play the game, because they love it. If they allow fans I will be at every game of the World Series.

Reason for that is not a pandemic nor the war.
That series was between the St. Louis Cardinals and the
St. Louis Browns, who both played at old Sportsman’s Park.
The Browns won the pennant in a war-depleted American League. It was their only trip to the Fall Classic.
And the Texas Rangers will get to watch the WS from the stands.
