He never would have been prosecuted if Trump hadn’t won 2016. Since taking office, Trump’s administration has been going back through records - I’ve seen many cases on Justice.gov in which crimes were committed ONLY during Obama’s reign but are now being brought to light and prosecuted. So much corruption, so many years of crime to address.

I was going to say the same thing - 10 years and they were really taking their job seriously, right? I’ve never had much use for U. S. Attorneys (acting or otherwise) and maybe this is why. Today we have the work of the Southern District of NY that seems to see only questionable violations of the law by Republicans.
