The parents, uncle and aunt of a teenager of Bosnian Muslim origin will face trial in France on charges of violence against a minor for shaving her head over her relationship with a Christian Serbian boy, prosecutors said Friday.
The girl had her hair shaven off and was also beaten in the eastern city of Besançon on Monday, judicial sources said.
“Shaved and beaten because she ‘loved a Christian’. Deeply shocked by this act of torture on this 17-year-old girl,” French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin wrote on Twitter.
“This barbarity calls for the most severe punishment,” he added.
Police detained the two parents as well as the uncle and the aunt. They were released under judicial control but are banned from contacting the girl, who has been placed under protection. They are not aware of her whereabouts.
They will be tried for “violence against minors”, deputy prosecutor Margaret Parietti told AFP. …

She should be rejoicing that her head was simply shaven and not aggressively detached from her body.
The Muslims are not known for their subtlety.
It will probably be shaved even with her shoulders.
Further down in the article, there is mention of French association of a “shocking” context with a woman having a shaven head, since this was done to French women who had relationships with Nazis.
And also, the article claims that the Mahometan parents were apparently fine with the girl’s relationship with the Christian boy but drew the line at marriage. This sounds highly counterintuitive, doesn’t it?
The girl and her Christian boyfriend need to leave the area and dissappear
Why don’t they just ship them back to Bosnia? There is no reason for them to be in France.

I know a couple of men that have married Muslim women. If they go through a few rules, some study and know the five pillars of Islam then they can be considered Muslims. That is why he was ok as a boyfriend but not as a husband. He had not done his conversion or whatever they call it
Bosnians are far less jihadistic than other Muslims. Nearly 70% are non-believing.
however, the clear point here was a SERB boy - Serbs are the ones who attacked Bosnians and Croats in the 90s, so they are seen as the enemy
For him to be the boyfriend being ok - that signifies this wasn’t a religious thing, but an ethnic one.
the interesting part is that Croats, Bosniaks and Serbs are essentially the same ethnicity, speaking the same language, but with different religions

True. The Serbs did start it, but it could have been any side who would have “started it” - it’s just that the Serbs were the ones faster off the gun.
