2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said Thursday that if President Donald Trump loses the presidential election this fall, she believes he won't go "silently into the night."
"I don't want to scare people, but I want you to be prepared. I have every reason to believe that Trump is not going to go, you know, silently into the night if he loses. He's going to try to confuse us, he's going to try to bring all kinds of lawsuits, he's got his crony Attorney General (William) Barr ready to do whatever is necessary," Clinton said at The 19th Represents Summit.(snip)
Clinton suggested at the summit on Thursday that she wouldn't rule out serving in Biden's administration if the former vice president wins the election and she is asked. But she said she is "not even going to go there" because she is focused on getting him elected.
"I can't even think yet about the administration. I'm ready to help in any way I can, because I think this will be a moment where every American -- I don't care what party you are, I don't care what age, race, gender, I don't care -- every American should want to fix our country," Clinton said. "So if you're asked to serve, you should certainly consider that."
Clinton said Democrats need "as big a voter turnout as possible, because it limits the chance for Trump to try to undermine the outcome of the election."
Biden has said he believes Trump will "try to steal this election," and that he is "absolutely convinced" the US military would escort Trump out of the White House if he lost but refused to leave.

Add to that the very real chance that if mail-in voting is massively used there will be both confusion and crime, and that it may be very possible that the winner of the election may not be known for a while. Almost like a nightmarish version of the Hanging Chad nonsense two decades ago!
Also, I honestly do not believe President Trump would leave office if he genuinely thought he won and/or the election was stolen from him, which means that what Hillary is doing is setting up the narrative for that. That the President will not leave. What she’s doing is signaling the narrative they will use. Because they know he will not if the election is a farce, so they are trying to prime the pump and structure the narrative now by making it seem that he will not leave because he’s a ‘bad man’ so that when they try to steal the election, and he refuses to cooperate, they can say ‘see, I told you so!’
It will be quite the election! Hold fast.
