Thank you. I've tried reading a few threads and using their search function but it's pretty poorly laid-out. What I did read was bat guano nutty. Even when I'd do "opposition research" and listen to WBAI in NYC, every rare now and then you'd get some interesting story or person (Gary Null was good, at night - everyone else generally made NPR seem like supply-siders).

Knowing what the enemy is up to should be part of a complete breakfast.

I got banned several times 15 years ago for simply asking polite questions: On immigration (ie. Why do You lock the doors of your house?); On the second amendment (Would gun ownership have prevented the Holocaust?) I got tired of the hate, but it was like a rats nest fight when you tossed logic at them and one of them tried to engage a discussion— the others pounced to enforce the ideology.

In doing some research to answer the "why" behind the cash-out now, I read that in 2015, research showed that the fifth highest dollar amount of payments from then Senator Hillary Clinton for her campaign was to a Shelly Moskwa, who appeared to be the DU owner's wife. She received 49 payments from Clinton totaling $185,295.

Perhaps Mr and/Mrs Former DU is now part of the Biden or Harris retinu, and this cash-out is for arms-length transacting/soliciting purposes?

I’ve gotten the boot three times. All I did each time was gently point out how much better Bernie is than Hillary. (They hate Bernie over there.)

It’s weird. My only guess is that the folks who run DU are Obama/Hillary Democrats. Or maybe they’re just in the pay of Obama/Hillary. Post anything positive about Bernie there and a few folks will semi-agree. But you’ll also get an angry mix of “he’s a spoiler” and “he’s not even a Democrat”.

So why did I post there (at least until I got the boot)? I was just probing the enemy’s defenses.

Side note: The folks over there are 100% humorless. Even on non-political threads there is no humor. None. Quite unlike FR.

A comedian said he likes to troll political threads in a way that causes people to go nuts. In 2016 he said he waded into a Democrat forum (maybe even DU) and said “Trump is so bad, I might just have to hold my nose and vote for a woman.”
