I agree, but an ever-growing imbalance of privilege and responsibility is neither equal nor complimentary. If a girl wants to join the military, she can. In the event of a real shitshow men won’t have a choice. A girl can terminate a pregnancy if she doesn’t want to have a baby and it’s no harm, no foul. A man has no such option to severe himself from his offspring — in fact, society will call you a deadbeat if try to walk away. I support neither abortion nor a man abandoning his kid, but it’s a pretty glaring example of today’s double standards. There are many examples that clearly show men are faced with the same set of responsibilities as 110 years ago — but none of the privileges. In fact, society as a whole tells men that they’re shit. On the other hand, in today’s climate females are collectively beyond criticism.

You can keep your head down and keep on trucking, but millions of men are looking around at all these contradictions and simply checking out. The so-called “mgtow” movement is exploding. Millions more men are checking out from society, checking out from raising families, checking out from being men. That’s a real cause for concern and it will get worse unless society takes a step back from lunacy and reaffirms normal gender roles. I’m not suggesting that women should lose the vote or being kicked out of the workplace, but we’re at the point where it’s considered sexist to state that men are generally physically stronger than women. Hell, saying that men should man up and protect women is considered sexist. Accepting such contradictory rulings as the one that is the subject of this article, just shrugging your shoulders and living with it, isn’t going to solve the problem.
