updated 6:14 AM, Aug 12, 2020 BRIGHTON, Colo. — A man is in police custody after he allegedly attacked multiple people with a machete in a Brighton home, fatally injuring one woman.

The Brighton Police Department said police were called to a home along the 2400 block of Cherry Circle around 9:50 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a disturbance involving weapons.

When officers arrived, they found several adults who had been injured. One woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two men and a woman were transported to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The suspect fled from the scene as police arrived and was found after a short vehicle pursuit followed by a chase on foot. Officers used a K-9 and once in custody, the suspect was brought to a hospital for a dog bite.

Police have not released the identities of anybody involved in the attack.

Violent riots in many cities and now machete attacks.

Obama’s vision of making the US more like the rest of the world is coming to fruition....unfortunately.

Brighton is just a little ways up Highway 85 from Denver, for those curious.

His identity is being withheld pending the filing of charges

By NOT telling me his name they've essentially told me everything i need to know. Low IQ, savages culturally enriching the hell out of those who feed them.

His identity is being withheld pending the filing of charges, police say.

His identity will either never be released or withheld until the case is long forgotten.

Machete attack most likely means Mexico or Central America.

Slightly off topic, but if any of y'all need a machete, this is the place to get one. I strongly recommend Tramontina.

Well, not the type of names I was expecting:

One killed, 4 hospitalized in Brighton machete attack; suspect in custody

BRIGHTON, Colo. (KDVR) — One person was killed and four others were injured Tuesday night in an attack involving a machete, Brighton police said.

The incident occurred at a home in the 2400 block of Cherry Circle, which is near the intersection of East Bromley Lane and South 27th Avenue.

A neighbor says she heard lots of screaming coming from the house around 10 p.m.

Brighton police say 51-year-old Bonnie Skinner of Brighton was killed in the attack; her husband, Vincent Skinner, two daughters, Paige and Abigayle Skinner, and Daniel Smeal, a family friend who lived at the residence, were injured in the incident and hospitalized.

Forty-eight-year-old Lonny Lynn McNair, of Brighton, has been arrested in the case. He is being charged with one count of homicide, four counts of attempted homicide, first-degree burglary and felony eluding.

McNair is in custody at the Adams County Detention Facility.

On Wednesday, Bonnie Skinner’s friends made a small memorial outside the Rusty Melon cafe in Erie, where she worked as the kitchen manager.

“She took a lot of pride in the Rusty Melon here. It was her baby. This is what she did, this was her life. And she was the ‘Mom’ of the restaurant. She put us all in our place when we needed to be,” said Tori Schneider, Bonnie’s friend and coworker.
