In the Facebook post, Jannetty said the man he made “disappear” was never found and that authorities “shoulda looked in the [Chattahoochee] River.”

“Can you imagine dragging a guy — he’s just tried to f–- you in the ass — can you imagine dragging him to the river and throwing him in? And then finding out on the news the dude’s missing? You know the dude. And you know more than that. That f–-ing affected me bad, bro,” Jannetty said in the Boston Wrestling interview.

TMZ reported Columbus police were investigating the apparent confession. The alleged incident would’ve taken place around 1973.

Columbus Police Department told TMZ they have launched an investigation into the former wrestler's confession.

'We are going to look into this,' a police spokesman told the outlet.

'The first step will be seeing if we have any missing persons or unidentified remains cases that match the limited information in the post.'
