A couple revealed how they were brought together by their love of vintage clothing.
Richard Herfeld, 29, and Steffi Kay, 26, dress almost exclusively in original outfits from the 1920s and 1930s.
The couple, who live in an Art Deco apartment in Toronto, met via Instagram, where they show off their unique style to thousands of followers.
After just 10 days of chatting online, Richard flew to Canada from his native Germany to meet Steffi in person. He had planned to stay just 10 days but ended up extending his trip to a month after falling for Steffi.

This is a nicer story than the last thousand or so that I’ve read.
Very unusual, but I can appreciate and support this kind on unusual.
Cute story, thanks for posting.
They are going to get #Cancelled, for a lot of reasons, I’m sure.
Not sure how I feel about a German guy who pines for the good old days of the 1930s. At least I didn’t see any arm bands in the pics.
I worked with a lady once who loved everything 1940’s..Her hair, makeup, dress, everything took you back to the 40’s
If they really want to respect the era, they should marry each other.
Gorgeous clothes. (How far we’ve fallen, huh? Tights and baggy tunics.)
In some photos she has an Angelina Jolie look.
“When girls were girls and men were men.”
LOL
Funny you say that. I was just going to say I worked with a girl who, with a little bit of hair and makeup work, could have been a ‘40s pinup.
Reminds me of “Reviewbrah”.
There’s a couple whose entire lifestyle and dress are Victorian era:

Yeah, they look sharp in those 1920s clothing. It helps to have a 1920s BMI.
Ah, the 1920’s and 1930’s when men looked like men and women didn’t.
If you look at films from the 30s you’ll see that just about everyone in the cities wore a suit or dress when they were out and about. My mother, this was in the 50s and 60s, never left the house to even go grocery shopping with out a dress on. It was a sign of respect for self and others. The hippie craze of the 70s destroyed that. Now apparently being a slob is the norm.
This modern-day Bertie Wooster should beware of the traps laid by the fairer sex; a few of the stories written by Plum will wise him up, or he should seek out advice from a wise uncle named Jeeves.
Yes, it saddens me. Through the 40s and 50s people dressed up more as well. Women in dresses and men in suits, and often both men and women in hats. Even service station attendants wore a tie. Things were more stylish then.
In Victorian times, guys wore some form of suit and tie while hunting and fishing. I purposely avoided the Sherlock Holmes films with Robert Downey in which he portrayed a tie-less open-collar Holmes with a beard stubble.
