We found Pluto a few months ago. Great stuff!

I binged Space 1999. I loved the show as a kid, but man I didn’t realize how bad it really was.

Thanks for sharing!

We’re cable/dish deprived where we live (Nowheresville) but I might be able to get it through satellite internet.

If you have Roku it works via Wifi connected to your TV. The Pluto App is free and so are the channels on its channel guide. There is no monthly subscription for Roku (just the purchase price at the store which is between $29 and $39)

I found pluto.tv a couple of months ago. My kids were in awe of tv commercials for a couple of days because they haven’t seen one in years. There’s some junk and some decent stuff.

Just heard on the radio yesterday of a new free streaming service. https://www.peacocktv.com/ but haven’t checked it out yet. Looks like they have a few plans.

Free
$4.99 gets you everything
$9.99 gets you everything with no ads

https://www.peacocktv.com/plans/all-monthly

No CC to sign up for the Free version. Just email and password

Isn’t that money directly to NBC/Comcast?

The use of the word “Peacock” causes one to believe
this might be hand in hand with NBC.

Goodness! TeeVee has drastically changed over the years.
We do enjoy our ROKU (as well as our Smart TV) Many of Pluto’s channels can be found on the Samsung Smart TV (TV Plus, no ROKU needed).

Introducing Peacock from NBCUniversal.

I was wondering why the only news I saw was NBC. Not much for movies. Half a dozen decent series like House, Cheers, Frasier etc.

Good line-up on Fubo but I already have cable.

Unfortunately unlike Pluto there’s a subscription fee for Fubo and most of the channels they offer are also on the mainsteam cable channels. Pluto, however, is completely free (not just as a trial) and they offer free conservative networks not offered on Fobu such as: The First, OAN (One America News), The Blaze and Newsmax TV (Newsmax TV also avail on Fubo).

I found Sling TV to be cheaper than Fubo

I don’t do paid streaming so they won’t be getting any money from me and I mute commercials.

I have Spectrum Cable and confess that I find myself watching Pluto which is free much more than regular paid cable.

Yup, I prefer the alternative conservative news channels (alternative to FoxNews - which I do not consider conservative) offered on Pluto and nothing owned by NBC will offer conservatism and peacock tv is NBC and MSNBC news line-ups and television shows> That’s what I’m trying to escape from.

Isn’t Peacock NBC? (Not sure.)

My sis has FUBO at the place they stay for the winter since they didn’t want to pay for cable/satellite for months when they’re not there. It works well for them. (It isn’t free, though.)

Pluto is in need of experienced techs to re-evaluate their grid.
To navigate is a hair pulling endeavor. Their ‘Movies on Demand” is particularly irksome.

Find I enjoy OAN’s “The Daily Edger” much more than Hannity! :-/
However, still visit Fox feed to catch Tucker.

Pluto continues to add more channels each week. A wide diversity of subject matter to be found.
