Incredible footage shows a small aquatic beetle being squeezed from the rear end of the black-spotted frog nearly two hours after being eaten in lab experiments.
Out of 15 experiments with the Regimbartia attenuata beetle species, 14 escaped from the frog's rectum unharmed and started scuttling around the glass tank

My stepson and daughter-in-law spent a couple of years in Tokyo with their kids. A very popular pet is large beetles (highly unlikely to survive a trip through a frogand the frog would not likely survive the experience either).
There are all kinds of accessories for pet beetles in pet stores and I even saw kids’ pajamas decorated with rhinoceros beetles prints.
Perfect pet for Japan. Take up little space, require little care and they only live 6 months or so.
