I been doing a lot of bicycle riding, often twice a day. Last week I had to rest two days because of stiff legs. Then I woke up on the third day with stiff legs and thought: No Way!...
So I had I short 30 minute ride and I been alright since.
One thing I like to recommend is do stretching exercises before you ride, especially the legs like squats.
Doesn't have to be a whole big deal, just 8 minutes is good.
