“I Hate Brussels Sprouts” - Jacob Blake’s Father Stuns CNN Host With Incoherent Responses
As Jacob Blake Jr. remains handcuffed in a hospital bed, paralyzed from the waist down after he was shot seven times by Kenosha police last week, his father, Jacob Blake Sr., joined CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Friday for an interview.
Cooper asked Blake Sr. a series of questions during the interview about the incident, which involved his son and police officers. Some of Blake Sr.’s responses stunned the liberal-leaning news host.
Cooper asked Blake Sr. about the new narrative the Kenosha police union published late last week, alleging Blake Jr. fought an officer and had a knife before he was shot in the back seven times.
Blake Sr. responded to the question: “Some say Brussels sprouts taste good.” Cooper paused for a few seconds and said, “Umm, I don’t get the reference,” prompting Blake Sr. to say, “I hate Brussels sprouts.”
Cooper asked Blake Sr. another question: “Are you concerned with the police union giving details when authorities aren’t themselves? “
In another incoherent response, he said the union is “like a bunch of dudes that pay dues so they can go someplace and meet and get away from their wives.”
Cooper then throws Blake Sr. a straightforward question: “When you saw your son in the hospital... he asked you why he was shot. Does he remember anything?”
Blake Sr. responds, “no, he didn’t ask me why he was shot - he said dad, why did they shoot me so many times?” Blake Sr. continued, “son, they weren’t supposed to shoot you at all.”
I just saw that clip. Strange.
So the scrambled egg that stuffs the crispy bacon is also pre-cooked to where they’re firm enough to stuff?

Michael Moore Warns Democrats Enthusiasm for Trump 2020 ‘Off the Charts’
Far-left activist and documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has warned Democrats that despite Joe Biden retaining a lead in national polls, enthusiasm for the President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign is “off the charts” in many parts of the country.
Posting on Facebook, the Oscar-winner pointed to polling indicating that President Trump may have a chance in battleground states such as Minnesota, which he lost in 2016, as well as Moore’s home state of Michigan, which Trump won by narrow margins.

Left-wing Hollywood celebrities are giving high-fives and high praise in response to the NBA’s decision to turn some of its sports arenas into polling locations for the November election, allowing for more people to vote in-person.
The voter initiative is part of a deal that the NBA has made with its striking athletes who are protesting the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Teams that have reportedly signed up for the voter push include the Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Hollywood stars are crowing their approval of the agreement. What the NBA arena polling place aspect of the agreement would mean for the push for mail-in voting and in-person voting amid the coronavirus pandemic remains to be seen. Still, left-wing celebrities including Rob Reiner, Mark Ruffalo, John Leguizamo, and Sarah Silverman have publicly backed the NBA’s deal with striking players.

Chatted with greeters at bottom of stairs for a few minutes.
Greeters, including GOP Sen. John Kennedy of LA and LA Dem Gov. John Bel Edwards, all wearing masks. Also among 6 greeters: Rep. Clay Higgins, AG Jeff Landry.
Potus wearing Red hat that says USA on front, Trump on back. Black windbreaker, tan pants. No mask. Rep Mike Johnson standing next to potus, also no mask.
Potus then turned toward the pool, mouthed “thank you”, gave us a thumbs up, and got into beast.

I guess it’s good to open sports arenas for voting, but I’m not sure how that helps.
First of all, generally voting locations are in local neighborhoods & close to voters. Many times within walking distance to voters.
Sports arenas are generally not in the neighborhood & you would need to drive a relatively long distance to get to them. The good thing is that there would be plenty of parking & they could accommodate many voters.
Going to a sports arena require much more of a commitment than going to a local fire station or school. Especially on your way to or home from work.
Going to a sports arena would generally require driving, which would require a driver’s license, aka picture ID.

We visited Warehouse being used for Cajun Navy relief supplies.
Building built in 1948, “this is the worst destruction it’s had,” said host.
Trump participated in a group prayer during the visit. A local person led the prayer.
Potus got a quick tour, motorcade rolling again at 1:14.

Motorcade arrived 1:23, Potus led on tour of neighborhood by Gov Edwards, fema director Pete Gaynor, others. Giant fallen tree is being cut up by what appear to be national guard members. Chad Wolf is also with the group.
Location: Near downtown Lake Charles, cross streets are Division and Louisiana, near interstate.
Color from last stop: As we were departing, supporters waving trump flags and American flags stood on the road (where motorcade made a u turn to get headed in the right direction).
Next stop was a brisk walk away: fire station in Fire District 1 for a briefing from first responders, local leaders, FEMA personnel.
