St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell said on Thursday that he will not charge the former Ferguson police officer who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in 2014.
Bell said that the significance of the case and requests from Michael Browns family prompted his office to quietly re-open an investigation about five months ago, but the office did not have enough evidence to disprove a self-defense claim in trial.
This is one of the most difficult things Ive had to do as an elected official, Bell said beginning a news conference Thursday.

but they will re-re-investigate next week until they get the results they want.
WTF?
They will find that the McCloskeys shot him.
Picking at scabs.
Don’t they already know Michael Brown was low life thug that deserved to die?
Has his family run out of settlement money already?
>> he will not charge the former Ferguson police officer
Not necessary — the thugs heard the dog whistle.
Every time I see a police confrontation between black and the police, all I see are ell phone held up recording the incident. SO WHERE ARE THE FERGUSON VIDEOS?
The gentle giant was punching the officer in the head and trying to get his gun. That will get anyone shot.
So how long before the riots start? Before 8pm? Midnight?
St. Louis County stooges poking the bear hoping for some action.
What used to be cynicism is now insight. I bet you’re right.
Rich ungrateful white kids bored looking for some weekend antics.
Sounds like once again, The adult in the state, their Attorney General, will have to dismiss this stilly shizzit just like he did with the false charge against the McCloskey’s.
From the article:
“There is so many points in which Darren Wilson could have handled the situation differently and if he had Michael Brown might still be alive,
Alive and in prison (maybe) b/c Wilson would have been dead.
He should have said that there were so many points in which Michael Brown could have handled himself differently and if he had, he might be alive.
Antics? Oh you mean arson, rioting, mayhem, vandalism and vicious assaults.
Crime in St. Louis County has dropped so much that prosecutors have the time and manpower to reopen six-year-old cases that were cleared by the Obama/Holder Justice Department. And the prosecutor said that dropping the case was, “one of the most difficult things Ive had to do as an elected official.” So he’s admitting that he really, really wanted to press charges. Must make cops in StL County feel all warm and fuzzy.
This is one of the most difficult things Ive had to do as an elected official, Bell said beginning a news conference Thursday.:
WTH? It’s one of the most difficult things to do as an elected official, to present the honest, truthful information from a case decided years ago? The information that a police officer was attacked by a “gentle” giant and used his weapon in self defense?
THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT THINGS YOU’VE HAD TO DO AS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL???!!!!
Politics ain’t working and the judicial system is stacked against whites. Some see it, most don’t but they will in time. And that time is coming quickly.
