Beginning to think that lurking is my best role.

I’m with you on that. I usually pick up where I left off when returning to the thread. A few times now, I’ve made a post after reading one. I continue reading after my reply only to find that several people have already said what I posted. I’m embarrassed and it wastes band width and people’s time.
Other times, I’m tempted to post simply a strong agreement, a word of support, or a question probing a statement, and then I remember my previous out-of-sync posts. That then reminds me of Winston Churchill who said, “Life is fraught with opportunities to keep your mouth shut.”
I know that if I want to be a better contributor, I need to stay on top of the posts, but there’s just too much real life coming at me at the moment for me to do that.
In the meantime, I’m enjoying everyone else’s posts and sharing of great ideas, as I always did before I came out of the shadows. So many smart people hang out here and it’s encouraging. But, for me right now being so far behind, taking advantage of those opportunities that Churchill spoke of seems to be my best role too.

Cheers!
You have contributed to the Hive Mind. ::
On ocohkun, they limit conversational threads (breads) to 751 posts.
Within that limit, there are multiple “same thought” posts.
Usually, they just compile and other times, if there are enough, it becomes a “No Table” idea.
Hive Mind.
It’s real.
@jackTwitter knows.

We’ve all done that. It’s really fine and everyone has input that is valuable. I read a lot, don’t retain a lot lol, I’ll post something that’s wordy or tmi, then just erase it and move on.
It’s very hard to read all the posts, every day. But a response is NEVER a waste of time or bandwidth. Sometimes I only have time to skim so post away! You both, we all, may have something to say in a different way, that someone else understands. Did that make sense lol??
