And then what? I’m relatively young (46), conservative as hell and in the high earnings years of my career. I have a great family and great life. So what? I speak out and I’m targeted, branded a racist, bigot, whatever else and my employer is pressured to fire me. My life then gets threatened by the “tolerant” left and my wife gets harassed. How can we fight back when the cost is so high?

You are just delaying the inevitable. Read the history of Cuba and other nations taken over by socialism/communism.
Truth is, we had 3 years to make progress and push back the tide.......but we didn’t do anything but gripe. I’m including myself.

I am in the same boat as you except @ 10 years older w a divorce and 8 yr alimony under my belt. I am a professor at a Midwest Land Grant University that was once considered normal. After 30+ years tenure, I can say it is not the school that I knew. So.... I am keeping my damn mouth shut though I am so tempted to write the University President ( a former 4 star General who once upon a time was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Of Staff).

At some point, patriots will see that the Democrat/Communists
have inveigled their way into most of the halls of power.
I am reminded of the French Resistance (very few in number)
who would go into the night and seek out the Nazis. In the
morning the total number of Nazis in the country was diminished.
The same fate would befall any collaborators.
The risk was high and mistakes were made, but the process
put the fear of god into the evil ones.
I guess you should be thankful for better men who have made sacrifices so you can reap the benefits?
Since you won’t fight back I guess you can just “hope for the best”.
