Edward Montgomery Clift was born on October 17, 1920, in Omaha, Nebraska. His father, William Brooks “Bill” Clift (1886–1964), was the vice-president of Omaha National Trust Company.[5] His mother was Ethel Fogg “Sunny” Clift (née Anderson; 1888–1988). Thus, as long as Clift’s father was able to pay for it, he and his siblings were privately tutored, travelled extensively in America and Europe, became fluent in German and French, and led a protected life, sheltered from the destitution and communicable diseases which became legion following the First World War.[8] The Wall Street Crash of 1929 and the Great Depression of the 1930s ruined Clift’s father financially. Unemployed and broke, he was forced to move his family to New York, but Clift’s mother still persisted in her plans, and as her husband's situation improved, she was able to enrol Brooks at Harvard and Ethel at Bryn Mawr College. Clift, however, could not adjust to school, and never went to college. Instead, he took to stage acting, beginning in a summer production, which led to his debut on Broadway by 1935.[9]

I don't see that joining the anarchists on the street makes a lot of sense, unless one is willing to go armed, and prepared to use it.
The AT&T ad of old comes to mind..."Reach out, reach out and touch someone." But who? The punks on the street are cannon fodder, nothing more. If something were to happen to them, I suppose it might have a deterrent effect.
Logically, punks are punks, and have been always. It seems to me the ire of Portlanders, for example, should be aimed at Ted Wheeler, the Mayor. His job is to protect the citizens from the punks who will always be with us.

Yeah, I rarely go to Facebook, and this is the first time I’d seen the “fact check” in action. It’s even worse than I imagined. Not even a shred of credibility! No debate , just a blanket assertion that the “primary claims” are false? I feel much safer, knowing some anonymous groups are watching over our content.
The real dangers are not the idiot BLM or even Antifa, but the Leftist monopolies that own every public venue.
