In Sterling Heights, three teen girls from Chippewa Valley High School - Mary Vucaj, Angel Santana and Ariana Belyue - planned and lead a 4,000-person protest along the Golden Corridor on June 6.
In Detroit, 16-year-old Stefan Perez has become a leader among the daily Black Lives Matter protesters. Meanwhile, 17-year-old Rockwood teen Taylor Martin held her own Detroit protest along the Dequindre Cut.
So, what is inspiring local Gen Z teens to stand up against police brutality and speak out in support of equality more so than teens of past generations?
We spoke with Taylor Martin to find out what lit her fire and to get her tips to help other kids that want to use their voice.

So she decided shed plan and lead her very first protest, which happened on Detroits Dequindre Cut on June 6, 2020.
I planned (the protest) in like a week, she says. Both of my parents are super supportive and my mom helped me a lot in this process.
With the support of her parents, Taylor was able to connect with two Black women from BYP100, a national member-based organization of Black youth activists fighting for justice and freedom, who connect her with the local activist organization Detroit Area Youth Uniting Michigan, aka DAYUM.

The idea is that people are born good, and are corrupted by society. Thus, children and teens are closer to original goodness, as they have not been corrupted as much yet.
This is exactly opposite of reality. Children are born as wild animals that need to be tamed and trained to fit into society and ordered liberty.
Relying on children for wisdom is insanity.
The deification of Greta Thunberg is a perfect example of your point.
It is also the root of the childish idea that "Everything I needed to know about life, I learned in kindergarten".
Simplistic, childish, emotional drivel.

Exactly.
Makes me wonder how many unwitting props were used on Jan 6, 2021.
BYP100 is one of the groups that sent people to be trained overseas in “Palestine.”
I watched this yesterday.
The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America - film
If the cast of characters in that film are indicative of today’s youth, we’re really screwed.
