That is an exaggeration; but the media everywhere likes to get people alarmed and in crisis. This one caught the public’s imagination... Most people in the world including out "leaders" just want to run with the heard. Does that describe you, or do you actually have the ability to use your brain? It is a little ironic that this is called “going viral”.

I’m in Tennessee and I don’t wear a mask “in large stores” — or any stores for that matter.
Costco has been in our rear view mirror since the mask policy was instituted. Disgusting Seattle liberals foisting their insanity on all of us. (I wonder if their policy to diminsh Trump can be considered an in-kind donation to the Biden campaign. How would that be quantified?)
There is fabric — by June Tailor, I think — made for printing with an inkjet printer. I make my “statement” before sewing the mask.
I’m pretty sure I have a bunch of that hoarded in this mess, somewhere.
It was on clearance at AC Moore [RIP] and I bought it for no reason other than there was a crazy chance I might need it someday.

It’s quite heavy fabric, so just the one layer is sufficient. The good thing is that you can color set it, so it can be washed.
There’s a “3D” mask pattern that gives a large area for adding a message.

Trump should never have put on a mask. It was succumbing to a constant drumbeat by the MSM to force the Prez to “submit”. It’s a control thing, and he knows it. The triumphalism of the leftists on TV today/tonight was palpable. The video of him wearing the mask was shown over and over again. They take his wearing of a mask as a big win. From this point on he should never wear a mask in public again.
Go outdoors (or even indoors) and look at all the Sheeple walking around in their masks, everywhere you go. It almost makes me physically and psychologically sick, watching the passivity of the populace succumbing to their leftist masters. We are so far gone and spineless now. Take a look around at all your fellow citizens looking like bandits. Wearing the same polluted masks day after day, breathing in their own germs, depriving themselves of fresh air and oxygen, looking like fools, fiddling with their masks with germ filled hands, being so obviously obsequies to their new government masters. Stopping herd immunity and just prolonging the inevitable. Fools all.
Oh but don’t you know, the masks are now a fashion statement. Clever entrepreneurs are becoming new millionaires making designer masks. A new addition to citizens’ wardrobes. Just think, you may be wearing your fashion statement forever. Breathe deeply folks, but only when you sleep.
Putting on a simple mask in a crowd keeps your sneezes and coughs from contaminating others but probably won't protect you.
Putting on a real medical mask when visiting high risk people to protect them and yourself is common sense. Quite a few docs and nurses etc. have died from covid...using a mask helps, but to keep completely protected is hard...there are protocols on how to put them on, take them off etc.
Remember, Trump has been exposed to covid at least once.
