The ongoing saga of people losing their entire minds over the concept of wearing a mask in public in the middle of the deadliest pandemic in 100 years, took a new turn on Tuesday.(snip)
The incident took place in a Costco store in—you guessed it, Florida—where the virus causing the pandemic has been surging for weeks.
In the video, a man confronts a woman about her choice to not wear a mask inside the store, which is against Costco's company-wide policy. She is holding two masks in her hands, but refuses to put them on. The woman's elderly mother is also unmasked.
As the man points out her violation of the policy, the woman takes a condescending, mocking tone in response.
"Yes, call the police... Shame me, like an a**. Go ahead, get out of here."
She then makes a kissy face at the man and smiles.
The man then asks an employee to call a manager, and the woman changes tactics—she claims she hasn't yet had time to put on her mask. She then scolds the man for shaming people and asks him if he understands science.
It's when the man answers in the affirmative that the woman condescendingly claims to be a medical professional.
"I'm a DOCTOR, okay? I am. And my father was too. And WE know what to DO about this."
When the man asks to see her credentials, she flips him the bird.

Regardless of who wins this year’s federal elections, I predict that the “ pandemic “ ends on November 4th.
i am avoiding stores that require masks
their choice to requirethem
my choice to not go there because iam healthy and its better for healthy people NOT to wear masks,
and its better for everyone not to wear masks to make sure their oxygen intake isn’t decreased by up to 20%
As for me I ask what gives the constitutional authority to require a mask. I don’t play the doctor card. Although when someone was mask shaming I did point out they were wearing the mask incorrectly as I could see their nose and mouth.
Sadly a private business is within its right to mandate attire. I’d I find it objectionable enough I will go somewhere else consistent with my prevailing opinions and attitudes.

What is it with people in Florida not wearing masks in these large stores?
Silence is consent.
There is not one iota of scientific evidence that any mask is effective against viruses. Surgical masks are used in hospitals to guard against Bacterial infections.
Viruses are orders of magnitude smaller than bacteria. Want to wear something over your face to prevent viruses from entering your body through your nose and mouth? A plastic bag will do the job quite effectively. You’ll be well insulated from any viruses entering your system. Of course in a few minutes, it will no longer matter.
That pandemic killed MILLIONS. It is disingenuous to imply this is the same. Even so, back then, they knew it would pass. Now? Stop shoving this “new normal” crap at us. We dont want it, Doctor. We won’t wear masks the rest of our lives.

In a retail store it was irrelevant to bring up her credentials, then equally irrelevant to ask to see them.
They both went down a rabbit hole.
If it’s the store policy, either go or not.
It will be an early Thanksgiving miracle!
Except for the unrevised flu numbers from a couple years ago... when they were not counting people who were shot in the head who had a cough before they died. And in Texas and a load of other states here they had 3 and a half times as many deaths from the flu as they currently have had from Covid-19.
