A new study has found that the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine helped patients survive COVID-19 while in the hospital, countering the establishment media’s criticism of President Donald Trump when he suggested the same thing.
The study was conducted by a team at Henry Ford Health System in Southeast Michigan and published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases on Thursday.
Researchers studied a group of 2,541 hospitalized patients and found mortality rates were substantially reduced when patients were treated with hydroxychloroquine.
The study found that 13 percent of patients treated with just hydroxychloroquine died compared with 26.4 percent not treated with the drug.
“Overall crude mortality rates were 18.1 percent in the entire cohort, 13.5 percent in the hydroxychloroquine alone group, 20.1 percent among those receiving hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin, 22.4 percent among the azithromycin alone group, and 26.4 percent for neither drug,” the study’s report read.

Dr. Marcus Zervos, the division head of infectious disease for Henry Ford Health System, said in a news release that the study’s findings have been analyzed and peer-reviewed.
“We attribute our findings that differ from other studies to early treatment, and part of a combination of interventions that were done in supportive care of patients, including careful cardiac monitoring,” Zervos said.
“Our dosing also differed from other studies not showing a benefit of the drug. And other studies are either not peer reviewed, have limited numbers of patients, different patient populations or other differences from our patients.”
He added in a news conference that the drug had the most benefit when patients were treated early, CNN reported.

The use of the drug has been criticized and questioned for months.
A May 22 study posted in The Lancet used data from Surgisphere to conclude that coronavirus patients taking chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine were more likely to die in the hospital, Science reported.
Within days of study’s publication, randomized trials of hydroxychloroquine came to a stop, including part of the World Health Organization’s trial of potential COVID-19 treatments. However, the data used in that study has since been scrutinized and described as “flawed.”
When Trump began taking hydroxychloroquine as a way to prevent him from contracting COVID-19, the mainstream media and Democrats mocked him for it.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi responded to the news by describing him as “morbidly obese,” while Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told MSNBC the president’s announcement was “reckless.”
Oddly enough, there have been ZERO scientific studies showing that the drug kills like a ninja when used to treat just that one particular illness. That didn't and still doesn't stop the Demagogic Party stooges in the media from claiming that President Trump was encouraging the use of an unproven drug.

This was all known well before and by Fauci. All of the previous research that was conducted at Wuhan which Fauci oversaw revealed this. Most likely this was how/why Trump knew about it. Makes Fauci double damned for constantly undermining it.
As an aside, please offer prayers for Herman Cain, who is hospitalized after a turn for the worse with COVID19. Cain, 74, is a survivor of Stage 4 colon cancer — which carries a five-year survival rate of just 14 percent, according to the American Cancer Society. A few short hours after his hospitalization, however, Cain was said to be “resting comfortably in an Atlanta-area hospital.” He reportedly did not require medically assisted breathing apparatus such as a respirator. Problem in TX is there is a test shortage and turn around results are STILL a week or more out with the backlog. If you’re outside a major city, add on more time to order a test kit or drive yourself to the city. Last week, Gov. Abbott said to only test those with symptoms.

Hydroxychloroquine may be effective in fighting the Coronavirus, but President Trump supports using it and to The Left (including the Fascist Fauci) that means Hydroxychloroquine must be destroyed. They can’t accept President Trump having a victory, even if people must die to prevent that victory.

People need to understand that Demshevik policies include murdering large numbers of people. Not as a by-product, but as a goal in itself.
That’s not the only reason.
They want old people who are more likely to vote for Trump dead.
But the main reason is that they want to claim “You’ll die if you have to show up in person to vote (of course you won’t if you riot, that’s safe) so we must have mail in ballots so we can cheat and Trump will lose”.
That is the sum and substance of everything they’re doing in connection with the corona virus. Once their motive is understood, it is clear why they at first pooh poohed and denied it, criticized Trump for stopping flights from China, told everyone “Don’t fear the virus” and “Wuhan strong” while inviting everyone to Chinatowns in NYC and SF to make sure it seeded all over them place.
Then they stuffed covid patients into nursing homes, denied and are still denyng the cheap and safe life saving medicine, and lying about testing and death numbers and fudging them up six ways from sunday, terrifying the public with masks and no going to church or singing and stay in your house, no beach or parks (yet rioting is safe), and on and on. Destroying peoples’ livelihoods and constitutional freedoms, demoralizing everyone and terrifying them into accepting mail in ballots.
It’s ALL about mail in ballots so they can cheat and try to get rid of Trump.
