Mailed (you read that right, “mailed”) mine in yesterday because this year I underpaid during 2019. They need to do the data entry.
I have to give them something to do besides surfing the internet.

My H&R appointment is today. The check still won’t be written and sent until the 15th. I did ask for the October extension so I might even wait til then. I asked for the October extension because I wasn’t sure how this virus was going to be.

I sent mine in on April 14th in paper form. I checked for status on the IRS website yesterday and no information was yet available. There was a note on the website to the effect that if you had submitted paper forms that you should not call the IRS to ask about your refund and that this was due to the COVID situation. I am guessing that they are way behind on everything.
