I remember what a problem the Occupy Oakland commies were, back in 2011. They occupied the grassy plaza in front of city hall. The police were directed to stay away by the idiot mayor, Jean Quan. So finally there was a shooting at the corner of the camp and someone was killed. A couple of nights later the police came in at 3 a.m. and wiped out the whole camp, loading it all in dump trucks and hauling it off.

Stir them up as a pretext for moving in, followed by overwhelming force.

Because at some point the mayor ordered the cops to. In this case the mayor is ordering the cops to abandon their station and keep out of the zone. The state’s governor claims to not even know that any of this is happening. The local officials appear to be on the anarchist/fascist’s side.
