“Why did she leave Fox News...”

Maybe to get away from losers like Juan Williams, Marie Harf etc.

My father was WWII vet, he was very aware of his duties until the day he died 30 years after retirement.

Yes and “penitration however slight is sufficient to complete the action “ is also still on the books but is being ignored. UCMJ can only be amended by an act of Congress. I don’t remember hearing that it was

Which code of conduct covers National Guard members chit chatting with prosters, dancing in the street with them, and taking a knee with them? I wore a Correctional Officer’s uniform, and if I’d done any of those things while in uniform, I’d have been written up, and possibly brought up on departmental chzrges.

During the Vietnam war there was a retired general ( forgot his name ) who came out against the war. The government tried but couldn’t do anything to stop or punish him.

I think there was a lawsuit. Catherine said she was discriminated against.

CNN is supposedly planning some fake “Town Hall” with Mattis and Kelly. It’s one thing to be against the war. It’s another to directly attack POTUS on medical grounds or whatever nonsense they come up with.

And it would make bigger news than what little marketing cBS gives her stories. She would land on her feet biggly.

I think you might be referring to Major General Edwin Walker. He was a thorn in the side of Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Johnson. He tried to resign his commission under Eisenhower but the resignation was refused. It was later accepted by Kennedy. By resigning, he gave up all benefits of a 30 year career, including his retirement pay, therefore, he was not subject to military discipline. At that time, he was the only General Officer in history to have resigned his commission and probably is still the only one.

Re: Mattis

Trump's other four star general also publicly criticized Trump.

John Kelly.

Trump liked Kelly so much he promoted him to White House Chief of Staff!

I blame Trump.

Trump was completely unprepared to win 2016.

Trump ran as a Republican, but Trump knew absolutely nothing about the intense political divisions inside the Republican Party.

Even more dangerous, Trump had no historical understanding of the Political Left fanaticism that will do absolutely anything necessary to destroy the lives of successful Republicans.

Trump was, and remains, the most Conservative candidate who has a chance to be elected president.

But the Republican Party and the country have paid a terrible price for Trump's historical ignorance.

Yup, I was at Benning and helped get those that had been released in the past two years or so come back in. I was in Legal and must have done thousands of wills before the people left to go to the gulf. I retired when the gulf war was over in 92. Yup, even in my 70s they could call me back if they desired to do so, whether I am broken down or not.
