I am among those who believe there is little coincidence this unrest is happening at this time, coming up on an election. Same thing in 2016.
I don’t know what is in their deranged thought process, if they really think they can bring Trump down, or if they are conceding that and working on keeping the house and getting the Senate.
And without their usual electoral fix of a given percentage of the black vote, if just a bit is siphoned off...that is a problem for them. And I think they know it.
So I believe they are pulling out the stops on everything. Calling in all their chits, all of their favors, all of their extorted resources. Look what they are doing on a daily basis.
They are getting retired generals and admirals to speak about how dangerous Trump is. They have made Obama open his stinking pie-hole. They have physician groups signing petitions declaring that Trump is bad for health.
You know that thing about evil, Satan possessing something, and the body being possessed fights back so hard at being possessed that it begins to...leak and expose the evil within? (They often portray it with some kind of bug or worm trying to exit the corporeal prison)
I don’t know why. I have that same feeling about the Left. That they are becoming so hysterical, that they can’t keep the evil inside them anymore.
It is the thought of Trump as President, the Senate Republican, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg departed this earth. It is driving them mad.
So, the thought of losing 5% of the black vote they counted on is eating at them.
We all know that liberals are lunatics, and that nothing they stand for makes any sense. Their political success depends upon deceiving the gullible and cowing the rest into submission. It looks like a large number of black Americans have finally woken up to the dems’ deception and realized that they can do better than food stamps and riots.
I agree. I don’t think there is a chance in Hell.
But it could be 20-25% realistically.
Think of it. That is realistic, not crazy. And the Left counts on the Republican candidate getting no more than 10-15% max. (Trump got 8% in 2016)
If Trump gets 20-25% of the black vote, that is catastrophic for the Left, IMO.
And I think they know it.

I’m not trying to be Stevie Downer here but there’s a few things to understand...
1. What are the crosstabs on this 40% approval? Black men over 40? Black women over 60?
2. How deep is that approval? On Election Day, does it translate into votes for Trump and/or the GOP?
I’m not saying these numbers are wrong. I’m just trying to temper everyone’s excitement at these numbers and trying to drill down further to see hoe accurate they are.
I remember a Rasmussen poll around January 2017 that had Obama’s job approval was around 60% even though America had just voted Trump for President. Job approval doesn’t correlate to election results. However I’m encouraged that 40% of blacks might even entertain the possibility of voting for Trump. Though I expect and hope that as many as 12% of blacks will vote for Trump in 2020.
It’s a Rasmussen poll of likely black voters, and he will be publishing these kinds of details shortly. So, if you really want the answers, check his site starting tomorrow.
This number is a bit higher than any previously reported number, but not by that much, and his and other polling have shown Trump’s support among minority likely voters consistently edging up.
Nobody likes to be lied to and the attacks against the president have been proven obviously absurd. The media and democrats don't even apologize when caught, they merely move on to the next lie. This has probably backfired on them and strengthened his support. If your estimates are close to accurate, I don't see the left bouncing back too soon. The down-ballot repercussions will be earthshaking.
Some of it could be that PT stood in front of the burned church, and held up his Bible.
If true, then it proves that more people condone the laissez-faire approach to the rioting than want law and order restored.
It might also mean that they’re rebelling against the draconian Dem-state lockdowns.
Or it simply may mean that they’re wising up to how the Democrats’ posturing, promises, and lies are just that.

I don’t think so. This is the third poll getting a similar result. Here in the South there are a LOT of conservative, church-going blacks. They aren’t stupid, and they see the good President Trump is doing to reverse decades of bad policy and social engineering.
As long as women in general wake up and realize they’re being conned by the Dems, I predict a major landslide for DJT come November. Bigger than Reagan. The Dems are visibly evil, insane, and bereft of good ideas.
Equally visibly, Trump has been getting good results overall. Further, regardless of his personality, President Trump’s policy positions across the board reflect rock-solid traditional American values.

It may be high relative to how many actually vote Trump/Rep in Nov., but the point is the trend, not the actual number. As stated, 15-20% actual vote for Trump will be devastating to the Dems. I am sure there will be many blacks who can’t bring themselves to vote Trump, but are now opposed to the democrat plantation mentality and won’t vote for the dems.
Remember, this is not Obama on the ballot, this is Biden. There is no symbolic “first black president” thing going on here. In fact, Biden’s “you ain’t black” if you don’t vote for me comment, may turn out to be his vote-rocking comment similar to Hillary’s “basket of deplorables” comment in 2016.
I would have been dubious if this poll was an outlier, but as he said in video, we have had 3 or 4 other polls showing the upward trend in Trump’s favor. And if the economy continues to recover through the 3rd quarter, this trend can only get better.
15% black vote in November will be the highest in 50 years for a Republican.
Don’t you agree it is possible? Who was going to connect with black voters in the past 50 years at 15%? In all my years, I have not seen as much black support for a Republican President or candidate as I have for Trump.
Even if it is 20%, that will be a real problem for them.
