I will never understand certain things. What is so objectionable that the president wants looters severely dealt with?

The Casual Observer might think that people such as Lightfoot want to see violence, want to defend the right of people to burn down buildings. Does she want to give space to rioters to do their thing?

Perhaps we do.

So I will add my two cents.

Peaceful protest and expressing anger at these events is perfectly okay. Peaceful protest and angry speeches are well within all of our constitutional rights.

Violence and rioting is crossing the line no matter how angry people might be. Violence should be met with Force.

It seems like some of these big City Mayors do not understand these basic concepts. Or else they are pissed off at anything Trump has to say just because he’s Trump and they oppose him politically.

Without a trace of sympathy. This is an attempted destruction of civilization. When those who build and enhance it are afraid to defend it, the curtain is about to fall.
