Sullivan lit Flynn up over his Turkey affiliation back in 2018. I’m not holding my breath that he will ease up in the least now.
While It’s possible that Sullivan is contemplating “homework” for the DoJ and possibly some kind of investigation like he did in the Stevens case my money is on him now finding a reason to deny the request to dismiss. I don’t know why he would do such a thing but after 4 years of being promised repercussions for “deep state” actions by various government agencies and individuals I have more or less reconciled myself to the understanding that those repercussions will never come.
I’d like to be wrong in this but, frankly, my optimism tank is on fumes these days.

The judge has been confronted with a filing from the government that reflects malfeasance by Team Mueller lawyers, possible failure to represent by Covington.
Seriously though. Lower your expectations in regards to justice in this matter and you'll never be disappointed.
While Democrats rally the troops and attack at a mere whisper, Republicans never seize an opportunity to strike and take out an enemy.
