All my kids learned to drive my 5 speed focus. They are the rarity that is for sure.

Yep, I encouraged my son while college age to take up stick as a defense against potential texting and driving. That’s all he drives now as he approaches 30.

I’ve had 6 cars with manual transmission. I love a stick shift. The only problem was when you had the dimmer switch on the floor and couldn’t tap it because your feet were too busy with the gas, brake, and clutch pedals.
