Miami Dolphins President/CEO Tom Garfinkel laid out his teams plans Monday on Good Morning America, describing how going to an NFL game will become much like ordering takeout from a restaurant or grocery shopping during the pandemic. All fans would wear masks, and colored spots on the ground outside the stadium would indicate proper social distancing as spectators wait to enter. Food would be ordered from the seat and then picked up at the designated concession stand, eliminating the need for lines.
Entering and exiting the stadium also would change to give everyone more space.
We would have times to come in for security at different gates so people would be separated out, in terms of when they enter the stadium, Garfinkel said. We would exit the stadium much like a church environment, where each row exits so people arent filing out all at the same time in a herd.
To accomplish this, capacity might have to be limited, ABC reported. Instead of the 65,000 fans Hard Rock Stadium can hold, attendance could be held to only 15,000 for the 2020 season so everyone can keep a proper distance. Left unsaid was how the Dolphins would handle this limitation considering that the teams season ticket base most likely exceeds 15,000. (In 2012, for example, it was 30,000.)

How about lower ticket prices?
What a bunch of a&& wipes. IMMUNITY SYSTEMS!!!! We have them and they need practice!!
The Raiders have been implementing this for the past couple years,
What about fans who leave early because its a one sided game, and want to beat the traffic? Will they keep people from leaving early?
Sounds like it would really be fun (sarcasm)
Aint no one gonna risk their lives to see the Dolphins play.

I’m sure prices will go up, and the addicted suckers can’t wait to pay them.
And the jocks will still be making millions a year.
Trial run last year? (snark)
Doesn’t the NFL make more money from TV contracts than actual ticket sales?

So are they only going to seat alternating rows? And have 2 empty seats between everyone attending?
How long is that line for the restroom going to become?
Will the restrooms be any cleaner than during previous seasons?
So if you get within 6 feet of the ball carrier is he deemed tackled?
How is the front line supposed to socially distance?
Are the players going to wear full PPE and N-95 makes and latex gloves.
Are they going to use sanitary wipes on the ball after every down?
I recently joked that this pandemic and America being taken over by wusses as a consequence of it will see the rise of No-Touch Football.
Even Sarcasiball (South Park) had touching.
I think the NBA should play in China this coming season. They were all in attacking the Rockets’ general manager for tweeting support of the Hong Kong protesters. NBA said that China was the source of over a billion in receipts.
Now is the time to show China you aren’t afraid of Trump’s propaganda.
IT’s Dead Jim
Judging by attendance at Dolphins games the last few years, social distancing shouldn’t be a problem.
LOL. Hardly anybody is going to mask up to go to game when they can just sit at home with friends or whatever and watch the game on TV.
The Marlins could only dream of those kinds of numbers, LOL.
