This past week I have been re-watching Herman Wouk's masterpieces, "The Winds of War", and "War and Remembrance".
In my opinion two of the finest TV miniseries ever made and timeless.
I have always been fascinated with W.W. II history and consider that era in many ways the High Point of this countries history. An era that will never be again.
A time when all America came together to fight a war that had to be fought. I contrast that time to today when we make politics out of everything including today's Virus Crisis.
For those of you interested you can find both available on YouTube, no commercials.

Deservedly so....heck as soon as soon as Ali stepped into her part it was truly cringe worthy!
LOL, and could you blame Pug for leaving the wife for Pamela. She was one beautiful woman back in the day. I believe she was married to Steve Martin at the time.
Yes I agree that Blobel was well portrayed. Even better than the actor who performed the character in the miniseries a Holocaust, which in general was also well done and focused more on Heydrich.
Yes the ending in War was very moving with the reunion of Natalie and Louis. I think Avram got shorted there... he also was a great character.
