Pvt. 1st Class Vanessa Guillen was last seen around 1 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of her Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters, 3rd Cavalry Regiment on Fort Hood.
Her car keys, barracks room key, identification card and wallet were later found in the armory room where she was working earlier in the day, according to the Fort Hood Press Center release.
Guillen was described as of Hispanic descent, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 126 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt

The soldier’s boyfriend, Juan Cruz, also posted a message to Twitter.
“Please help me find my girlfriend her name is Vanessa Guillen,” he tweeted Friday. “Height 5’3. She has 3 tattoos on her left arm. Please anything helps.”
This is not good.
This probably won’t end well. But bump, regardless.
How sad I hope they find this brave American.
Her sister, Mayra Guillen, shared a Facebook post on Friday, writing: “My sister... last seen two days ago. Phone last tracked at Belton, Texas. No contact with boyfriend, close friends or family. Belongings and CAR are at base too back in fort hood. Something is not right please help me find her. Houston Austin Fr hood/ Killeen areas.”
Odd, going to the parking lot without keys and wallet, but with just her phone- that is, if was her with the phone in Belton. When I worked at a Reserves center people would sometimes leave keys and wallet locked away while going for a quick jog together, they were always trying to stay fit; I wonder if she was meeting another soldier or soldiers for something like that and one of them changed his mind about what kind of exercise they were going to get.

I hope the young lady is found safe, but it doesn’t sound good.
My money is on another boyfriend. Or she did not cope with Army life.

Nonsense! All the movies show that little teeny tiny girls can whip six great big men all at the same time!
Also, it annoys the crap out of me that they use the word "Soldier" when talking about these scrawny little girls that are more trouble for the military than any possible benefit.
Keep em in logistics or medical, and leave fighting to men.

My sister was kidnapped and murdered by a professional body builder. You will never understand until it happens to YOUR daughter/sister. In the mean time you can go fck yourself!
While I hope she is OK its disturbing that we have soldiers the size of a 13 year old boy, but probably not as strong. Doesn’t bode well for our side in combat.
Problem not a combat engineer. She was working in the arms room. That's where you go when you are looking for the armorer. That was probably her job. She is certainly a Soldier despite your narrow minded opinion.

The Russians and Chinese have no problem with putting weapon systems in the hands of their women soldiers. One of their women soldiers will kill you just as dead as any of their male soldiers.
