Ya right. Well if they keep quarantining the healthy (which is the first time ever done in humanity) then we won’t have a country to make great again.
Personally, I think that’s the idea.
It makes no sense.
We see what happened. Some areas got hit hard. Vast majority didn’t but now we’re just waiting for the disease to spread.
Clearly everyone sitting at home did nothing.
I am not a conspiracy theorist, but it is getting easier to believe that this is an organized effort to destroy our country’s culture and style of Government.
You know what. I’m going to short the market. Apparently too few in this country have the will to oppose the tyranny. It’s obvious where this is all headed financially. Need a little less talk, and a lot more action someone once sang.

So how, exactly, do you only quarantine the sick when there’s a 14 day incubation period and sick people might not even show symptoms but still be contagious?
The only way I can think of to do that is to test EVERYONE - but when THAT wouldn’t work, because, as Dr. Fauchi pointed out, you could test negative for the disease one day - but then catch it the next.
We are now all sick until proven well. Also, they have quietly back tracked on the 14 days to see symptoms. It’s now 4-5 days after exposure that symptoms present.
Dat da plan, man.
The US was unprepared to test for an unknown, highly contageous virus. Consequently, government had to presume everybody “guilty” of having the virus and quarantine everybody.
Hoping that warmer weather makes SARS-CoV-2 go away like the flu goes away.
In meanwhile, and in my non-medical opinion, take vitamin D3 if you can find any.
The historical reference to “quarantine” is in protecting a healthy population from the sick. You (England) are healthy, you lock up that boat of filthy Italians ( ;) to prevent them spreading whatever disease they carry.
Contrast that to today where the arrival of the disease was undetected (thanks China!). The US is spitting out about 30k known new infections a day. The “sick” people to quarantine are unknown. The “healthy” are unknown, too. The “lockdown” is limiting the spread, since no possible quarantine could.
I understand that everyone is frustrated, but this kind of argument about historical quarantine is just bunk.

Some of the elites clearly have incentives and motives to push certain agendas, That is undeniable.
Why not test everybody in the country for Influenza?
More people die per year from it!
Don’t you see they keep changing the goal?
First it was flatten the curve to keep the hospitals from being overwhelmed.
Now, it’s make sure it’s on the decline, and make sure EVERYONE is tested.
Meanwhile, our country is descending into third world

Bingo! No expensive tests/hospital visits just some common sense. No edicts from power crazy governors/mayors. Just common sense.
Our economy/citizens have been brutally beaten/raped/abused with the insane/power grabbing actions of democrat elites, democrat governors/mayors and democrat mediots!

Quarantines only work to keep a small amount of sick people from going out and spreading the disease!
They don’t work to keep the vast majority of healthy people locked inside.

And if you can’t find any, get out in the sun (excellent source of all variants of Vitamin D).
All because the CDC and NIH with tens of billions per year in appropriations and at least a decade’s head start cannot wrap their minds around “asymptompatic spread”.
If this is the best solution they could come up with then

The idea that only the sick are quarantined is not accurate. Ships, in their entirety were quarantines. Villages, cities, and towns have been quarantined , in toto since the Middle Ages.
The folks spewing this crap should really stop. It makes them appear ignorant.
And very few places outside hospitals are quarantined. I travelled in four jurisdictions today, in two states. I wasn’t stopped once. That would not happen in a quarantine.
This misuse of language is intentional to cause hysteria.

Quarantine is for the healthy (but suspect). Isolation for the sick.
