I remember seeing ROTC cadets at a college in Cleveland displaying four fingers and a zero....denoting the score at Kent State.

At the time it was presented by many as “Kent State Radicals.”

Now it’s always “Student Protesters.” But wasn’t at least one who died not actually a student?

I recall hearing CSN&Y singing “Ohio”, lamenting National Guardsmen gunning down rock throwing, rioting leftist radicals...”shoulda been done long ago...”

And thinking, “damn right it shoulda been.”

I was 18 at the time.

We weren’t all ANTIFA forefathers.
