The protocol doesn’t provide HCQ until you find yourself in the ICU. What kind of treatment plan is that?

Iontheball, The important part of this treatment is these are OTC drugs that people can start at the first symptom. Most hospitals will tell you to stay at home and only come in if you’re “short of breath”. So you might have days of fever and misery and then either get well or have to go into the hospital much sicker. Quercetin with Zinc is and HQC with zinc are supposed to do the same thing— allow zinc into the cell to stop the viral replication.

Dr’s now can not prescribe unless in hospital. It is about shortages. Front lines medical works are allow to take. If you realy need and can not get a prescription there are other ways

https://www.evms.edu/media/evms_public/departments/internal_medicine/EVMS_Critical_Care_COVID-19_Protocol.pdf This page says to use the hydroxychloroquine for mild cases ‘if available’. The summary page only has it for severe cases. Maybe it was due to availability.
