This large, quiet, genial man wearing a Jets cap pulls up to River Grille in Chatham, N.J, on Sundays now, a golden retriever in the backseat, and uses his credit card to pay for the $101 order.

When restaurants and hair cutting places reopen we all need to tip extra well. Those folks are having a tough year.
Thats 6 minutes of his salary and its news, not that its bad.
Yep, thats what I plan to do with my rescue check. I figure its not for me, its for helping those who have been really hurt. Im old, on social security and working a job to get by, but the thing is, Im getting by. Ive akways tipped well but always wanted to be a big tipper. Im going to love this.
I picked up carry out in our small town two nights ago from my favorite bar/grill, for my birthday; our check was $25 and I gave one of my favorite bartenders - now a takeout server - a $30 tip. Seemed like the right thing to do - especially after she said they were making about $45 a shift now.
why do people blab this? if the man wanted to blab it himself one thing, but for recipient to blab is just selfserving, attention seeking, name dropping and being disrespectful of the tipper’s privacy. if i were the tipper, i’d go get my food elsewhere.
