The other graph begins each plot at the moment a nation reported 100 confirmed cases.
It’s a standard analytical tool.
So now we fast forward to the present where we have a tiny virus killing our citizens just as surely as did the bullets and shells of WWII. Once again our government asks for us to do things that are not anywhere as invasive to our lives as before, yet all there is is bitching and bemoaning the supposed loss of Liberty. It seems today we have a large number of selfish pricks rather than true patriots.

What is happening now is an extension of the (now) embedded fear in the American psyche that we may never recover from.
Churches that were struggling to keep people coming may not recover the numbers they once had
Schools WILL experience a loss once parents have been forced to learn this home schooling thing ain't so hard after all
Just those two elements alone will alter the American social structure (perhaps) indefinitely.

Even if the virus threat is overstated, and I tend to think it is, this Nation can easily survive. We've been though worse, like the flu of 1918 and the wars.
Maybe people will see it was a dreadful mistake to outsource our industry. I doubt it though since that move was driven by greed superseding love of country. The virus won't kill the greed.
When Murdoch bailed, and a little before, on most of FOX, their behavior has changed to the left and they are weeding out those that fight that.

Many out there, on the right side, believe that if they take the time to research the history of flu virus in the US. Me for one. FOX was the last major national citadel of conservative information on television. Since Disney, and not Walt’s Disney, has slowly used their funds to drain any conservative voice off the airways they can, they are rapidly opinion castrating conservative information and opinion. And again in this case, they just annihilated another voice. Between them, NBC, CBS, and all the, so called, news networks, they have slowly destroyed the voice of the people that support the conservative way. It’s taken them years, but they are truly gaining on the outcome they seek.
In a couple of ways, in my advancing and body failing age, I am sad in seeing the end of what this country has stood for for over 225 years and for centuries has been the dream of getting to for good people from all over the world. My time is short. In time, a short one, this country will be just like what they were leaving. And I am sad that I was unable to stop it and was used as a way to get it done. Hope enough of us in the future grow a spine and change this without harming the sheep. We wouldn’t be a good sheepdog or shepherd if we did. Cause the wolves don’t care who they harm. They’re just hungry for power.
