You do have enough anticonvulsant for a few weeks? If not you might be able to call her MD and get a Rx. And there might even be a cab driver still who would bring it to y our house. Douse the package in hand sanitizer or cheap bourbon.

She has a good, new prescription that is working well. In fact, her glucose control has improved significantly now that she is on a regular dosing schedule. The only real "hardship" now is that she isn't allowed to drive until May. I have to do all the driving now. I'm fine with that. She is able to perform her police/fire/EMS dispatch work just fine. It's a small accommodation to the new "normal".

Calling 911 means having her own officers, firefighters and EMTs making an in-house visit. That was more upsetting to her than the actual medical event. One normally gets the house tidied up for visitors.
