CHINO, CALocal man Barrett Hampton encountered a nasty 10-Matchbox-car pileup on his evening commute Monday.
He was making good time from his makeshift upstairs office to the living room when he had to put on the brakes, spotting the brutal car crash just ahead.
"Honey, I'm gonna be late -- there's a huge accident up ahead," he said, phoning his wife, who was sitting on the couch ten feet away. "Oh, man, it looks bad. A Hummer is dangling off a cliff, there's a jackknifed trailer attached to a Jeep, and there's some kind of dune buggy flipped over. What's with all the dune buggies out today? And... does that car up there have a mounted .50 caliber machine gun? I'd better try to get around this."
The man attempted to reroute himself around the accident but immediately stepped on a Lego.
I like.
Thanks - laughed out loud reading this.
Too bad he stepped on a Lego.

“nasty 10-Matchbox-car pileup”
me and my brother used to have that happen all the time when we were kids playing in the sand under the beach house, especially when the “pileups” were caused by lighting firecrackers under the little suckers ... by brother still has the full collection, but they’re pretty damn beat up,what with all of those firecrackers and such ...
GMTA!
Oh man, I used to love jacks (I’m 49). Do they make them anymore? I am suddenly wanting to play jacks (see what happens when the bars are closed and I can’t get out?)
I had a collection of Dinky Toys, a couple of British Tanks, two or three trucks, a German Tiger and a sand rat North Africa tracked vehicle, three field cannons and a few dozen soldiers added, British, American and German. Had to leave them at a cousin’s house for three weeks while moving. He destroyed the entire collection throwing rocks and exploding theing. I was fifteen and he was twelve. No, I didn’t beat him up over it, butit really broke my heart since I had been collecting since I was eight years old. Had two shoe boxes full. Grrrr
I hope there were no fatalities!
With enough rooms you could do a pub crawl!
Tipped with curare. For the adventurous Dad
Hilarious. I was always a “Hot Wheels” man, myself.
