Placido Domingo and his family are isolating in self-quarantine after the opera singer tested positive for Coronavirus.
On Sunday (March 22), Domingo shared that he had suffered from a fever and coughing -- two symptoms of COVID-19 -- before he receiving his test results. He encouraged his followers to keep their distance, wash their hands and observe best practices set by healthcare professionals before ending his note with a word of solidarity and encouragement.
"Together we can fight this virus and stop the current worldwide crisis, so we can hopefully return to our normal daily lives very soon," he writes. "Please follow your local government’s guidelines and regulations for staying safe and protecting not just yourselves but our entire community."

they say that they think we can get reinfected- ugggh- hopefully though reinfections will be less severe- but there’s no evidence about this yet-
So what? Just because someone famous gets the Coronavirus is that special or are they supposed to be immune from getting it?
My mailman, the Sparkletts delivery guy, our handyman ... the real workers, in other words. Not because of the service they give me. That can wait. But because of the impact of current events on their lives.

Is this the hot new publicity grab? Sorry to hear of it, but just stay home and get treated like any other person on the planet. If the virus shows us anything, like death, no human has any additional intrinsic worth than another. Your wealth and fame will not save you from the fate that awaits each of us. Please stop the illusion that wealth and famous people are different than Cliff the mailman.
Let’s hope he’s stopped pawing his co-stars. He doesn’t need to pass it on that way.
