This is not preterist. In John’s lifetime the first horseman was still 1500 years away. The second still continues. The third and fourth are still to come.

Do you think the pestilences and locusts and earthquakes and wars are preterist because they’re happening now? There’s more of all of them to come.

Preterist means you think the destruction of Damascus has already occurred, when it is the oldest continually inhabited city on earth.

To assert what you are posting one must deny the Revelation of John is in chronological order. The perspective is close in then backed out then close in again. In a strange way you might be onto something, but it is not unheard of for The Revelation to start with specific churches then also mean identifiable epochs. Are we living in the epoch of the Laodicean church luke warmness? I think we are.

I would take issue with using only a backed out farscape long count perspective and not allowing for a more precise one to fit into the seven years of Daniel's seventieth week. In any event, I believe the Word of God clearly shows the born agains are snatched away before the man of sin / lawlessness can even be revealed.
