I’m guessing that means humans have some resistance to malaria, where it’s found, and possibly they would also have resistance to coronavirus?
Either that or it’s just too darned hot for the virus.
I sure hope that map aint a lie. The first time I saw it within the source article, it nearly took my breath away. No pun intended.
The source article that embedded the map claimed that those are the areas with the highest instances of malaria and are therefore highest treated with chloroquine.
“By the way, Hydrochloroquine is in the VA formulary.”
Have you a link for that?
I have a close relative that goes to the VA on occasion.

Oops. Wrong link.

You know damn well there are diabolical individuals out there who are pondering the ability to recreate this circumstance in the future.
we’ve been reading about this drug plus remisdiv (sp?) for a few weeks now......
good observation....maybe Africans are just more resistant to this virus....
This drug, plus quarantines, is very likely how China stopped the pandemic there. It will work here, too, God willing.
that is amazing......good work...
