The lizard species said to have inspired the iconic movie monster Godzilla frequently finds itself in a brutal battle for dominance.
Four giant Komodo dragons standing up to 8 feet tall were recently caught in an epic brawl that ended with a dog pile of exhausted dragons at Komodo National Park on the island of Komodo, Indonesia.
Remarkably, none were maimed or killed during the jungle rumble.

Now thats a rumble in the jungle!
What is it now? Only one or two people in the world that have survived a bite from a Komodo Dragon?
Or is that some other type critter?
I got the Slow Joe syndrome, dont blame me..
Very nasty critters. They have something in their saliva which causes the flesh of their prey to start decaying. By the time the prey is dead, they are nice and ripe for eating.
Primal dominance!! I love it!
Did you see that one? He was all.. I’d fight you, man, but my mom bought me this shirt for my birthday..
My favorite at the local zoo.
Ours bit Sharon Stone’s husband’s toe.
Sharon Stone tried to kill her husband. No one who wants their spouse to live gives them a barefoot, up close meeting with a Komodo Dragon.
it bit him through the shoe. Komodos are SUPER SIZED!!!!
Look it up, he was barefoot.
Awesome brutes...
The komodo was determined in 2009 to have a venomous bite. The former belief was that bacteria in the lizard’s mouth caused septicemia in their prey.
Lizards tend to be like that, whether small chameleons in the garden or larger monitor lizards such as the Komodo. We are fortunate that the Komodo is rare and is the only example of a liard large enough to easily kill humans.
I would love to have a pack of trained ones for hunting!!
Yeah...but barefoot at the request of the zookeeper.
It was more like a wrestling match than I expected. The loser of the first battle sneaked off while the newcomer was fighting the winner. Very sensible.
