According to the Washington Post, 91% of Trump coverage by the three broadcast networks, which include ABC, is negative. When a right-wing lunatic massacred people of Mexican descent at an El Paso Walmart in August 2019, the networks blamed the attack on Trump's "hateful" rhetoric about immigrants.(snip)
Having been taught to hate Republicans, a Bernie Sanderssupporter shot and nearly killed GOP rep. Steve Scalise. After Rep. Scalise was shot, Republican rep. Claudia Tenney received an email that read, "One down, 216 to go." Seventy-one-year-old female staffer for California GOP rep. Dana Rohrabacher was knocked unconscious by Trump-hating Democrats during a protest outside Rohrabacher's office. The FBI arrested man for threatening to assassinate Republican rep. Martha McSally over her support for Trump. Trump-hating Democrats threatened the children of ICE contractor's employees... (snip)
Here's why I bought AR-15s for my sons: when Lenin was asked how the Bolsheviks planned to keep the Russian masses from listening to counterrevolutionaries, he replied in so many words, "We must teach our followers to direct unbridled hatred toward our opponents." A half-century later, Saul Alinsky taught Lenin's "teach them to hate" strategy to the post-1960s Democratic Party, which turned it into an art form.

It may be better to build the AR- platform of your choice on an 80% receiver so you don’t leave the paperwork trail leading right to your door.
Rifles are just expensive clubs if you dont acquire the skill set to use them effectively.

Gee, that almost sounds like the Christmas gift my son’s received a few years ago.
We have a picture of them doing final assembly on the kitchen table. We titled it “The family that builds guns together stays together.”
Sadly, they were canoeing together a while back and flipped over.
They are on sale for $299!
I think 5D Tactical makes one of the best jigs and router bit sets for doing the milling of the lower receiver and drilling the pin holes for AR-9, AR-15 and the DPMS pattern LR-10 lowers.
That’s naive....erh, nice...uhmmmm fake....LOL

... or ammunition to feed them. I highly recommend learning how to reload.
Rudimentary skills appear by instinct upon just telling people how to use such a weapon. Finer skills can be taught and skills honed; however, a rifle can work well as intended just by picking one up and examining it for a few moments. Movies give some HUGE clues, and everyone watches movies.
I highly recommend learning how to reload.
Been doing it for nigh on 20 years now. Love it when Midway has a sale on factory second .224 bullets. Laid in several thousand 62 grain soft points a couple months ago. They shoot just fine.
Pulling the handle on the RCBS is a good way to pass the time while the Mrs and I cocoon indoors and watch the madness unfold.
Stay safe.

Get an AR-14 for your enemies
Where?
I am just getting started. A friend showed me how on my first 100 rounds. Now looking to go to a formal class at my local gun range. Already acquired a very basic press and now looking at a multi station presses. Maybe Santa will be good to me this year.
I have a 3d printer (x2) ... thinking about possibly making my own press.
I got my start on a Lee set of dies that doesnt need a press. They make a cool little kit, you use a rubber or brass mallet on the sizing die and seat the new primer as you drive the case from the die. Its a great way to learn on the cheap and you can save up for a press while you go.
A combination thrusting spear and club with something that goes “Bang” in the middle.
See the fainthearts swoon in fear!
thinking about possibly making my own press.
Theres an awful lot of force going on when you pull that handle. Id recommend a good single stage model to get started. Ive used an RCBS for 20 years and its never let me down.
They sell a very nice starter kit for around $300 or so. Youll need a set of dies and a couple of manuals so youd need to budget another $100-$150 to that.
But as well as theyre made youd be set for a lifetime.
Just my two cents, of course.
