Yup. My mom (97) fell and fractured her arm and has been in one for about a month minus the time she spent back at the hospital for surgery on it. Cringing the whole time.

Sorry yes, I’ve been posting updates from Cary Canada on the football thread. He’s had a rough go and is now back in rehab. Last was:
Carey once again - Danny is having some trouble with stomach cramps lately. They have him on a prescribed diet that has no taste but he’s going to see if I can bring him some outside food tomorrow. They did a CT scan on him yesterday to see if he has any intestine blockage. He was told no blockage was found at first then they changed their mind. All I could say was “hang in there and get better”.
Any news on Bender? Thanks in advance.
I looked through a few football threads and didn’t see any news on Bender but hope your back is better. :)
Not much news. He’s at a rehab facility working to get better.
a group of nurses I work with were having lunch in our small lounge...the topic turned to covid...ALL of us agreed it is a farce..

I went to visit Danny in person this afternoon. His TV wasn’t working but I found the problem. He couldn’t find his phone. Apparently it had gone to the laundry room with his bed sheets and has now been returned. We had a good visit and I think he was in a better state of mind when I left. Carey Canada
Just as a side, ask your oncologist how well your immune system has bounced back. Until you get the all clear—you are compromised.
Not trying to be all “Karen” on you...but my experience with chemo in the middle of this was to have the oncology nurses pretty much tell y wife to wrap herself in Saran Wrap until her blood count got better. It did...and we are fine.
I would hate for you to pick up anything nasty. Not just Covid.
I am so happy to read you are doing well. Never laid eyes on you, so I wasn’t sure I was directing my prayers in the right direction!
